JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Valorant team earned a statement win on Monday night, defeating Illinois State University 2–1 in NECC action.
After dropping Map 1 (Sunset) 13–10, IC responded with a dominant 13–5 victory on Ascent, their strongest map. IC then closed out the series with a convincing 13–6 win on Lotus.
Fray Moulton highlighted the night with a team-high 67 kills and a 2.15 KDA, becoming the program's all-time leader in career KDA (1.97). Dwight Duijneveld added 63 kills with a 1.91 KDA, while Jonest Eisfelder tallied 45 kills in the victory.
