Game 1: IC set the tone early with a 5–3 victory.
Game 2: Buena Vista responded, evening the series with a 3–1 win.
Game 3: The Blueboys regained momentum, shutting out BVU 2–0.
Game 4: IC battled through a tight 2–1 result to go up 3–1.
Game 5: The Blueboys closed it out with another 2–1 victory, sealing the upset.
