IC Falls to #2 Cornell in MVEC Valorant Clash, 0–2

JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys Valorant squad dropped their MVEC matchup against Cornell College on Tuesday night, falling 0–2 in the best-of-three series.

Cornell, ranked No. 2 in the MVEC preseason poll, showed their strength early with a 13–4 victory on their map pick, Ascent. The Blueboys battled hard on Lotus but ultimately fell 13–6 to close the series.

Despite the setback, IC had standout moments. Carter Naeve delivered a clutch 3v1 to spark momentum, while Fray Moulton pulled off an incredible 2v5 ace, eliminating the entire enemy team in a single round.
