EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Blueboys wrapped up the 2025 SLIAC Men's Golf Championships at Timbergate Golf Course with a 4th-place finish, led by
Jarrett James and two other All-Conference honorees.
It was a challenging final day across the board, with scores climbing for many teams. Despite the tough conditions, the Blueboys held steady in fourth place throughout the round.
Jarrett James shot an even-par final round, highlighted by three birdies, to finish 9th overall.
Myles Kampwerth and
Teddy Walbaum each carded a 77 in the final round to tie for 15th place at plus-seven over the three-day tournament.
Tobin Nell contributed a strong finish with a 3-over 75, landing him in a tie for 28th at +13.
Dylan Clark rounded out the scoring with an 81 (+9), placing him in a tie for 33rd at +16 for the event.
James, Kampwerth, and Walbaum were all named Second-Team All-Conference performers, with the top eight earning First-Team honors and places 9–16 earning Second-Team.
#36-ranked Mississippi University for Women claimed the team title at 11-under par, while Lake Forest (+3) and Lyon (+4) finished just ahead of IC.
Caden Tinsley was named as a member of the All-Sportsmanship Team awarded to a player from each team.
Blue Notes
The Blueboys team score of 888 is the second-lowest 54-hole total in program history, trailing only last year's 873 at the SLIAC Championship.
Jarrett James now holds the two lowest individual 54-hole totals in school history, with his -1 finish in 2024 and this season's even-par performance.
