JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - Southwestern Illinois College used a strong singles performance to beat IC, 6-1, in a men's tennis dual on Thursday at the Bellatti Tennis Center.

IC opened the match by getting a win at No. 2 doubles from
Tejas Zala and
Andrus Dupre, but SWIC was able to win the other two contests and take a 1-0 lead.
SWIC would ride that momentum to five singles victories en route to winning the dual. The Blueboys' lone win came at No. 2 from
Jeff Wernsing.
