JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The Illinois College Clay Target Team is set to host its next recruiting event on Saturday, May 3rd at 10:00 a.m.
The event is free to prospective athletes and will begin with check-in at 10:00 a.m. on the Illinois College campus (1101 W College Ave.). The team shoot will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will include trap shooting and sporting clays at the Sportsman's Club in Jacksonville.
The co-ed clay target team is in the midst of its second season as a member of the IC Athletic Department. The squad competes in events like trap, sporting clays, and five stand. The program is a member of the Scholastic Clay Target Program and participates in ACUI Clay Target events.
The Recruiting event is a chance for prospective student-athletes to meet coaches and learn more about the program. The event is free to prospective student-athletes and will begin with check-in at 9:30 AM. The event will include trap, sporting clays, and an Annie Oakley event. Shells, clays.
