DAVENPORT, Fla.- Illinois College's bats came alive in a dominant 15-7 victory over Wentworth, racking up 17 hits and scoring in six different innings to secure the win.
This win moves the Blueboys to 4-3 to start the season and drops Wentworth to 1-4.

Illinois College's offense was relentless, stringing together runs in six different innings to keep constant pressure on Wentworth. After a scoreless first, the Blueboys struck for three in the second, highlighted by an
Adam Passmore sac fly and a balk that brought in another run. They added three more in the third, with
Jon Tate tripling and Passmore delivering a two-run double.
A four-run fourth put Illinois College in control, as
Sean Raffa's two-run single and
Louie Bartletti's RBI hit extended the lead. They tacked on runs in the seventh and ninth, with Raffa finishing 4-for-4 with five runs and four RBIs. Passmore was big again for IC after going 3-for-6 with six RBI's.
Connor Akstulewicz earned the win with five solid innings, and
Chris Campau closed it out with two perfect frames. Illinois College's pitching held Wentworth scoreless after the sixth to seal the win.
