PELLA, Iowa – The Illinois College men's tennis squad split a pair of matches on Saturday at the Central College Tennis Courts.
Central topped IC, 5-2, in the morning match before the Blueboys bounced back to stop Wartburg, 4-3, in the afternoon.

The Dutch opened the match by sweeping the doubles action and taking a 1-0 lead. IC then won two of the six singles matches as
Tejas Zala was victorious at No. 1 as was
Glenn Conway at No. 2.

The Blueboys rallied for the victory in this match as the Knights won all three doubles points to jump out to an early lead.
In singles play, IC was able to come back thanks to victories from Zala (No. 1),
Jeff Wernsing (No. 2), Conway (No. 3), and
Titus Ashford (No. 5).
