JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College men's swimming and diving team completed its unbeaten dual season with a 117-79 victory over Millikin on Saturday at Coultas Natatorium.
The victory improved the Blueboys to 10-0 overall.
IC was led by a pair of double winners on the day in
Eli Eberle and
Cade Emerick. Eberle took the title in both the 50-yard freestyle (22.53 seconds) and 100-yard freestyle (50.22 seconds) while Emerick won the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.80) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:18.60).
The Blueboys' other individual winner was
Scottie Nicotra, who touched the wall first in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:39.88.
The 400-yard medley relay team of
John Masiliunas,
Cooper Meyer, Eberle, and Nicotra was victorious, clocking a time of 3:45.56. The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Eberle,
Scott Sosnowski, Nicotra, and
Nathen Trachta won the event with a time of 1:32.28.
