JACKSONVILLE, Ill- The Illinois College Esports team dropped another MVEC Valorant match Tuesday night against Coe College 2-0. This loss moves IC to 1-3 this season with their only win coming from forfeit against Central College.
Game 1 (Pearl): Coe 13 IC 1
The first map of the night was picked by Coe, as they dominated Pearl right away to take a huge first game win 13-1 over IC.
Dwight Duijneveld led IC with 28 eliminations in the match, but was the only player for IC wth a KD over one.
Game 2 (Lotus): Coe 13 IC 7
IC selected the second map and showed improvement as
Noah Horsman and
Kieran Powers found their rhythm. However, despite their efforts, they fell short against a strong Coe College team.
