JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Lady Blues wrapped up their 2024-25 season with a 70-52 home loss to Knox College on Wednesday night in Sherman Gymnasium.
IC finished the season with a 10-15 overall record and a 7-9 mark in conference play, while Knox improved to 15-9 overall and 10-5 in conference play with one game remaining.

The game started as a back-and-forth battle, with Kaity Robinson scoring in the final second of the first quarter to give the Lady Blues a one-point lead heading into the second. However, Knox responded with a dominant 17-2 run to open the quarter and never gave up the lead. The Prairie Fire extended their lead to as many as 26 points in the fourth quarter.
Ella Ausmus pulled down 10 rebounds for IC while adding seven points, while
Jayln Patterson led the team with 10 points and grabbed eight boards.
Raegen Stringer contributed four steals and three assists, securing her place in the program's record book for single-season assists.
Blue Notes
Ashlyn Wightman concluded her Lady Blues basketball career with 1,057 points, 727 rebounds, and 216 blocks. She ranks 13th all-time in points, holds the top spot in blocks, and sits 5th in rebounds in program history.
Anna McKee wrapped up her Lady Blues career with 630 points, 231 rebounds, and 106 steals.
Raegen Stringer made an impressive impact in her freshman season, recording 98 assists—placing her 9th all-time for most assists in a single season.
