JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's swimming team had four individual champions, but Monmouth was able to overcome that to post a 104- 85 win over IC on Saturday at the Coultas Natatorium.
IC's first victory of the day came from
Jadyn Grismer, who won the 50-yard freestyle in 25.95 seconds. The Lady Blues'
Laci O'Malley followed that with a win in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking a 2:29.86 performance.
Jena Sellers posted a win in the 100-yard freestyle for IC, touching the wall in 59.35 seconds.
Abby Stevens closed out the Lady Blues' victories by winning the 500-yard freestyle in 5:52.22.
