JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College Rocket League team earned a 4–1 series win over Bradley University in NECC play, completing a gentleman's sweep on Tuesday night.
The Blueboys came out strong, opening the match with decisive wins of 7–1, 3–1, and 1–0 before dropping Game 4, 2–3. IC quickly bounced back to close out the series with a commanding 5–0 victory in Game 5.
Lucas Barry led the way with a record-breaking performance, becoming the first player in program history to record double-digit goals in a single series, finishing with 10. Glenn Conway added two goals and a team-high five assists, while Dwight Duijneveld tallied six goals and two assists in the win.
With the victory, Illinois College improves to 4–2 on the season, positioning the team to secure a spot in the upcoming NECC Playoffs with one match remaining in the regular season.
