WAUWATOSA, Wis. – Aurora was able to build an early lead and posted a 49-14 victory over the Illinois College football team in the SmileyCookie.com Lakefront Bowl on Saturday at Raabe Stadium.
IC concludes its season with an 8-3 overall record. Aurora also finishes 8-3.

Aurora jumped out to a 26-6 lead in the first half. IC got its first points of the day in the second quarter when
Lleyton Miller latched onto a 51-yard pass from
Kyle Leonard.
Cole Stuart closed out the scoring for the Blueboys in the fourth quarter when he caught a two-yard pass from
Cole McKey.
Zac Laird scored the two-point conversion from McKey for IC's final points of the season.
Tanner Spencer led the Blueboy ground attack with 32 yards on seven carries. Stuart had 100 yards receiving on four catches while Miller had two for 64 yards.
On defense,
Drake Stuart closed out his stellar IC career by recording 11 tackles, while
Blaze Helton added 10.
Clayton Dinardo had the Blueboys' only interception on the day.

IC has won 28 of its last 35 games overall and concluded the winningest three-year period in school history with the 2011-13 squads.
