JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – Illinois College Esports picked up a 2–0 win over Wisconsin–Eau Claire in Valorant before falling 1–4 to Jamestown in Rocket League on Monday.
In Valorant NECC play, IC earned a sweep with wins of 13–10 on Ascent and 14–12 on Lotus. Dwight Duijneveld led the team with 62 kills, marking his sixth career 60-plus kill series. Fray Moulton added 43 kills and a 2.33 KDA, while Jonest Eisfelder and Ekko Nguyen provided key rounds to close out both maps.
In Rocket League MVEC action, the Blueboys took Game 3 with a 2–0 shutout but couldn't overcome Jamestown's pace, falling 1–4 overall. Lucas Barry led the way with four goals and three assists, while Duijneveld and Glenn Conway each contributed on both ends of the field.
