MADISON, Wis. – Illinois College's
Sabrina Ingram won the consolation championship of the No. 6 flight at the Midwest Conference Individual Tournament on Sunday.
Ingram, a senior from Jerseyville, Ill., defeated Rachael Pofahl of Lawrence, 8-6, to claim the championships.
The Lady Blues had two other players in action on Sunday.
Alyssa Wise (No. 1) and
Clara Bach (No. 2) both dropped their consolation final matches.
In doubles action, IC had a pair of teams win their opening match before falling in the semifinals.
Sophie Muir and Lilly Ingram won their opening match at No. 2, as did
Sophi Barrow and
Sabrina Ingram at No. 3.

The Lady Blues will take a break from competition until February 27th when they face Avila in Jacksonville at 2:00 p.m.
