GRINNELL, Iowa – The Illinois College women's soccer team punched its ticket to the Midwest Conference Tournament for the first time in program history with a 2-0 win over Grinnell on Saturday at Springer Field.
IC moved to 10-6-2 overall and 6-1-0 in MWC play. Grinnell dropped to 5-6-4 and 2-2-2.

The Lady Blues took the lead early in the contest when
Holly Morehart scored on a pass from Oliva Ralston at the 19:46 mark. IC took that 1-0 advantage into halftime.
IC iced the victory at the 63:38 mark when
Olivia Hulsey scored unassisted, and the Lady Blues cruised to the win.
Rodriguez paced the IC attack with three shots while
Katy Adler and Ralston each added a pair.
Stella Gonzalez pitched the shutout in goal for the Lady Blues, recording six saves in the process.

The 6-1-0 record in Midwest Conference play is the best league record in program history… IC's six league wins are a school record… the Lady Blues' 10 overall wins are the second-most in program history (tied with last season's squad).
