DECATUR, Ill. – The Illinois College men's swimming team ran its dual meet winning streak to 13 with a pair of wins on Saturday at the Decatur YMCA Pool.
The Blueboys stopped North Central 143-31 and Millikin 139-48. IC has won 13 straight dual meets dating back to last season.
The Blueboys had a pair of double winners in
Eli Eberle (50-yard freestyle in 22.07 and 100-yard freestyle in 49.77) and
Nathen Trachta (100-yard butterfly in 57.31 and 500-yard freestyle in 5:14.34).
IC also got victories from
Cade Emerick in the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:26.18),
Scottie Nicotra in the 200-yard freestyle (1:51.93),
Lucas Sullens in the 200-yard IM (2:06.63), andÂ
John Masiliunas in the 100-yard backstroke (59.66).
The Blueboys also won a pair of relays. The 200-yard medley relay team of Masiliunas,
Ethan Norton, Sullens, and Eberle was first in 1:45.21, while the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Gavin Rasmussen, Nicotra, Sullens, and Trachta was victorious in 1:34.53.
