JACKSONVILLE, Ill.– The Illinois College Rocket League team continued its strong start to the NECC season with a commanding 4–0 sweep over Northwestern College on Wednesday night.

The Blueboys opened the series with a 4–2 win in Game 1 before taking full control, posting a 6–0 shutout in Game 2 and a 7–1 rout in Game 3. Illinois College sealed the sweep with a 3–1 victory in the final game to cap a dominant performance.
The match was briefly interrupted when Rocket League servers went down mid-series, preventing individual player statistics from being recorded. Those numbers will be updated once available.
Despite the technical delay, Illinois College's aggressive new approach paid off. The team implemented a more on-ball, attack-oriented rotation that created steady offensive pressure and boosted scoring output throughout the night.
