Box Score GALESBURG, Ill. – The Illinois College men's soccer squad dropped a 1-0 decision to Knox in a Midwest Conference match on Wednesday at Jorge Prats Field.
IC is now 6-2-2 overall and 1-1-0 in conference play. Knox improved to 5-2-3 and 1-1-0.

The match was tightly contested throughout as the teams battled to a scoreless first half.Â
The contest remained scoreless in the early stages of the second half until the Prairie Fire finally broke through at the 76:07 mark with the eventual game-winning goal.
Knox outshot IC on the day, 11-10. The Blueboys got three shots from
Tyler Lunning and a pair each from
Jacob Pelletier and
J'aiden Cranwell-Meneses.
TJ Esseily started the match in goal for IC and gave way to
Daniel Happach after the opening 15 minutes. Happach recorded five saves on the day.

IC is 5-1-1 in its last seven matches. Over the past three seasons, the Blueboys are now 13-3-2 in Midwest Conference action.
