JACKSONVILLE, Ill- The Illinois College women's golf team won the Country Club Classic hosted by IC at Jacksonville Country Club on Monday. IC took the win with a fifth-score playoff over John A. Logan.
The Lady Blues shot a 326 led by
Shelby Seiler who shot 80 to finish tied for second overall.
Katie Mae Milhiser and
Kate Burr added two rounds of 81 and
Emily Guest rounded out the scoring with a round of 84.
After play was complete Illinois College and John A. Logan were tied for first at 326, so it came down to a fifth-score playoff where
Hannah Harpster's 86 took the win over John A. Logans fifth score of 88.
Katie Mae Milhiser and
Kate Burr ended up finishing tied for fourth place in the tournament as well. This was the final tournament for the fall season before the conference tournament starting next weekend.

The women's golf team is back in action starting on Sunday for the SLIAC Women's Golf Championship at Metamora Fields Country Club for a three-day tournament to conclude the fall season.
