JACKSONVILLE, Ill- The Illinois College women's basketball team suffered another conference loss on Saturday, falling to Ripon College 79-39 at Sherman Gymnasium. The defeat drops the Lady Blues to 2-7, while Ripon improves to 5-2.
Ripon entered the contest on a roll, having recently defeated Carroll University, the nation's #13-ranked team.
The Lady Blues were held to 25.0% from the field for the game and 19.6% from behind the arc. Ripon went to the free throw line 36 times making 25 of those to shoot 69.4% from the line. Ripon won the rebound battle 59-26 in the win.
IC was led by
Anna McKee with 12 points including five rebounds and three steals.
