Jack Flatley and
Ann Feldhake provided the highlights for the Illinois College Clay Target Team at the National Championships over the weekend.
Flatley lead the IC men with a 40th place showing in the Male Gold Category while Feldhake was fifth in the Female Gold Category. Feldhake was also one of 16 competitors to record a perfect 50-for-50 round during the event. Flatley also posted a 25-for-25 round on day two of the competition.
The teams shot 100 targets each during the two competitive rounds. There were 200 participants from 16 different institutions and the top five scores from each squad were used to determine the team score.
There were separate categories for male and female shooters. Participants with a league average of 22/50 plus were in the gold category and 0-21.99/50 were designated as silver.

Day 1
Jack Flatley placed 40th in the Male Gold Category with a score of 91/100
Ann Feldhake placed 19th in the Female Gold Category with a score of 89/100
Aurora Baker placed 23rd in the Female Silver Category with a score of 71/100
Allyson Holste placed 29th in the Female Gold Category with a score of 69/100
Lucia Sanchez placed 30th in the Female Silver Category with a score of 62/100
Day 2
Ann Feldhake placed 5th in the Female Gold Category with a score of 97/100
Jack Flatley tied three other shooters for 46th place in the Male Gold Category with a score of 93/100
Aurora Baker placed 21st with a score of 75/100 in the Female Silver Category
Allyson Holste placed 31st with a score of 69/100 in the Female Gold Category
Lucia Sanchez placed 31st with a score of 72/100 in the Female Silver Category
