Happach Named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Illinois College's Daniel Happach has been named the Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week, the league announced today.

Happach, a freshman goalkeeper from Morton, Ill., started and posted a shutout while recording six saves in the Blueboys' 1-0 win at Knox on Wednesday in his lone appearance of the week.

IC is 9-3-1 overall and a league-leading 3-0 in conference play. The Blueboys travel to Monmouth tomorrow for a 3:30 p.m. conference match.
