JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's soccer team slid past the University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis, 3-2, in its final non-conference match of the season on Tuesday at England Stadium.
With the victory, IC improved to 8-2-2 while UHSP dropped to 3-4-0.

UHSP stunned the Lady Blues with a quick goal from Kyndal Adams just 2:32 into the contest. IC was able to battle back by controlling possession for most the half and tying the match at the 28:14 mark when
Abby Love scored off a feed from
Olivia Ralston.
IC took the lead just before halftime when
Erin O'Connell found the net at the 42:37 mark.
The Lady Blues added what would turn out to be the difference in the match at the 60:39 mark when
Haley Sommer scored on a penalty kick. UHSP added a goal at 70:41 but it would be as close as they would get.
Sommer led the IC attack with six shots while Ralston added five.
McKenzie Murray and Love chipped in with four each.
IC had
Sophia Kriegesmann (first half) and
Stella Gonzalez (second half) split the duties in goal. Each had one save.
Blue Notes
This was the final non-conference match of the season for IC… the Lady Blues finished the non-conference portion of the campaign with an 8-2-1 record, the best non-conference performance in school history… tonight's match was just the second of the season that IC did not score the opening goal.
