ST. LOUIS, Mo.- The Illinois College men's and women's tennis teams traveled to face Webster University to start their fall season. The women's team suffered a close loss with a final score of 4-5 and the men fell short with a final of 1-8.
Lily Ingram was the standout on the women's side winning her No. 3 singles match with a final score of 6-4, 6-1. The team split the singles competition 3-3 and fell just one match short of the victory in the doubles competition.Â
The men were led by Andrus Dupre picking up a victory in No. 4 singles with a final of 6-3, 4-6, 10-7.Â
Both teams will travel to face Westminster on Saturday, 9/9 at 10:00 AM.Â
