DECATUR, Ill. - The Illinois College women's soccer team traveled to Millikin University Wednesday night. The Lady Blues suffered a loss to the Big Blue with a final of 2-4.
In the opening minutes, Millikin had two shots on goal as both shots found the back of the net for the early 2-0 lead. In the 23rd minute, Millikin added an insurance goal from Elly Hermanson.
The Lady Blues added a goal in the 33rd minute on a
Stephanie Flores goal as that goal was her first goal of the season. IC went into halftime down two at 1-3.
Both teams each added one goal in the second half. IC's goal came in the 66th minute off the foot of
Lauren Sinclair as that goal was her first of the season.
Cassidy Tacker represented IC in goal with four saves on the night.
The Lady Blues will host Central College on Sunday, September 17 at 4:00PM.
