GREENCASTLE, Ind.- The Illinois College Lady Blues traveled to face DePauw University on Saturday in their final games of the regular season. The team fell short dropping both games of the doubleheader to stand at 23-14-1 overall.
GAME 1- Illinois College 3, DePauw University 11
The Lady Blues were led by
Cheyenne Anderson at the plate in game one. She finished the game going two for three with one run scored and two RBI.
Terin Teeter suffered the loss in the circle pitching 2.0 innings.
GAME 2- Illinois College 5, DePauw University 9
Anderson continued to have strong at-bats going two for three in game two with one RBI.
Calynn Gicante was the starter in the circle suffering the loss pitching 5.0 innings with one strikeout.
The Lady Blues will look ahead to host the MWC Softball Tournament on Friday, 5/12, and Saturday, 5/13.
