JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College men's tennis team hosted Monmouth College in MWC action on Wednesday. The team picked up a win defeating the Fighting Scots with a final score of 8-1.
IC swept the doubles matches to jump to an early lead.
The No. 1 team of
Ethan Sabotta and
Derek Wilkinson and the No. 2 doubles team of
Kyler Kantor and
Allen Oakley both earned wins with finals of 8-5.
The Blueboys finished the match winning five of the six singles matches to claim the victory.
IC will continue their conference schedule hosting Cornell College on Saturday, 4/22 at 9:00 AM.
