JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys have punched their ticket to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament after receiving an automatic bid from winning the Midwest Conference Tournament. IC will travel to face Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois for the first round on Friday, 3/3 at 6:45 PM CT.

Illinois College Blueboys News and Notes:
* The team enters the tournament with a record of 25-2 overall.
* IC has four players averaging double figures in scoring and is led by
Jake Mazrimas with 13.7 points per game.
* The team leads the MWC and ranks 11th in the nation in scoring defense, only allowing 61.0 points per game.
* The Blueboys have rewritten the record books breaking countless school records this year. The biggest one being the program's win record surpassing the previous record of 18 wins set in 1949.
* The team won their first MWC regular season title in program history and won their second MWC Tournament in program history. They enter the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history since the 2002-03 season.
