JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's swimming squad fell in its two duals at the IC Winter Double Dual on Saturday at the Coultas Natatorium.
Millikin University topped the Lady Blues, 133-92, while Beloit scored a 151-90 victory over IC.
Jena Sellers recorded a victory in the 50 yard freestyle for IC, hitting the wall in 27.45. She also finished second in the 50 yard butterfly in 24.20.
Jenna Kenning took first in the 100 yard backstroke by finishing in 1:07.27 and was second in the 100 yard IM with a time of 1:09.25.
IC held its annual Senior Day festivities before the contest, honoring Kenning,
Madelynn DePover,
Cassie Reeve,
Mackenzie Strong, and
Emily Wickerham.
IC will break for the holidays and return to action on January 19th when they travel to Bloomington, Ill. for the Illinois Wesleyan University Tri Meet.
