BELOIT, Wis. – The Illinois College women's soccer team dropped its season finale to Beloit, falling 5-2 on Saturday at the Strong Athletic Complex.
The Lady Blues finish their season with a 6-9-2 overall record and a 2-4-2 slate in Midwest Conference play. Beloit moved to 5-8-5 and 4-1-3.
Beloit opened the scoring with a quick strike, scoring the opening goal at the 8:46 mark. That stood until halftime.
The Buccaneers scored a flurry of goals to open the second half with three scores in a nearly eight-minute span.
With the score 4-0, IC got on the board when
Erin O'Connell found the net at the 59:53 mark. The Lady Blues tallied again at 71:43 when
Olivia Hulsey scored to close out the IC offensive output.
