ST. LOUIS, Mo.- The IC women's soccer team traveled to face Principia College on Monday night. The Lady Blues would earn a tie against the Panthers 1-1 to stand at 0-1-1 overall this season.
Both teams stood scoreless at the end of the first half. Principia was able to strike first with a goal in the 64th minute to jump ahead of IC. With under five minutes remaining in the match,
Olivia Ralston set up
Lindsey Ruff for the game-tying score in the 86th minute.
Neither team was able to gain the advantage which led to the match resulting in a tie.
Cassidy Tacker was incredible in goal totaling seven saves in the match.
IC will travel this weekend to face Rhodes College and Nebraska Wesleyan University on Friday, 9/9 at 4:00 PM and Saturday, 9/10 at 11:00 AM.
