JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Blueboys earned a win over Kaskaskia College on Thursday with a final of 6-3.
The Blueboys stood ahead 2-1 after doubles competition. IC's #1 doubles team of
Ethan Sabotta and
Kyler Kantor picked up the win 8-6. They were followed by the #2 doubles team of
Derek Wilkinson and
Jack Leardini with a win 8-5.
IC earned four wins in singles to claim the victory in the match. Sabotta picked up the win in #1 singles 6-1, 6-3. Other winners for the Blueboys included Kantor at #2 singles (4-6, 6-1, 1-0), Leardini at #3 singles (7-6, 6-1), and
Jovan Norris in #6 singles (6-3, 6-4).
The Blueboys will travel to face Cornell College on Saturday, 4/16 at 9:00 AM.
