MADISON, Wis.- The Illinois College Lady Blues tennis team competed in the Midwest Conference Singles and Doubles Tournament this weekend. IC had some impressive individual performances.
Michelle Maag was able to make a run in No. 1 singles making it all the way to the consolation final before being defeated 5-8.
Hannah Lueke represented IC in the No. 2 singles tournament falling in the consolation final 2-8.
Mikhayla Haloftis and
Jasmine Dennis made appearances in the No. 4 and No. 5 singles tournaments making it to the consolation final as well.
In doubles competition, the No. 1 doubles team of Maag and Ingram were able to make it all the way to the consolation final falling to Cornell College 3-8. The No. 2 doubles team of Lueke and
Shya Prescott were able to pick up a victory in the consolation final over the team from Cornell College 8-4.
This wraps up the Lady Blues Fall season. The team will return to competition in the Spring.
