JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College Lady Blues tennis team earned a victory against the Monmouth College Fighting Scots to improve to 2-7 overall and 1-0 in the MWC.
The Lady Blues would sweep the doubles competition.
Sophia Roth and
Kalisa Goertz would pick up the win at No. 1 doubles 8-2.
Mikhayla Haloftis and
Ashley Brokaw earned another win for IC in No. 2 doubles with a score of 8-2. The No. 3 doubles team of
Maggie Dooley and
Christin Meyn would come away with the win 8-0.
Singles winners included Roth at No. 1; Goertz at No. 2; Brokaw No. 4; Dooley at No. 5; and
Abby Isham at No. 6.
The Lady Blues will look ahead to host Grinnell College on Sunday, 4/18 at 1:30 PM.
