JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- The Illinois College women's tennis teams competed in their home opener this Friday against Kaskaskia College.The Lady Blues put together a strong team effort, but fell short to
Kaskaskia with a final of 6-3.

The Lady Blues No. 1 doubles team of
Sophia Roth and
Kalisa Goertz were able to earn a victory 8-5 over the Blue Angels. The team would earn another win after the No. 2 doubles team of
Mikhayla Haloftis and
Ashley Brokaw defeated the Blue Angels 9-7.
Goertz would also pick up a win in No. 2 singles for the Lady Blues 6-1, 6-2.Â

The Lady Blues will look ahead to travel to face Principia College on Thursday, 3/11 at 4:30 PM.
