WEBSTER GROVES, Mo.- The Illinois College women's tennis team suffered a loss on the road to the Webster University Gorloks with a final of 8-1.
Kalisa Goertz was able to represent the Lady Blues with a win in No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-4.
Sophia Roth put together an impressive performance at No. 1 singles. She was able to force the match to a third set, but would fall short of the victory 1-6, 6-3, 5-10.
The Lady Blues will compete next at home against Greenville University on Wednesday, 3/24 at 4:00 PM.
