BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The Illinois College Men's tennis squad was defeated by Wisconsin Lutheran on Friday, March 12th by a final score 6-3.
The Illinois College No. 2 duo featuring
Ethan Sabotta and
Jovan Norris were able to defeat the Wisconsin Lutheran No. 2 duo of Bryce Halvorsen and Jon Kannenburg in a tightly contested battle with a final score of 8-7.Â
Sabotta's singles win (6-2, 6-0) acted as a spark for the Blueboys as the team had their best showing of the year. Along with Sabotta's victory,
Connor Barton was also able to secure a singles win (7-6, 1-6, 10-6). Â
The Illinois College men's tennis team will travel to St. Louis to face Webster University on Sunday, March 21st at 10:00 A.M..
