JACKSONVILLE, Ill.- Illinois College hosted the Titans of Illinois Wesleyan in a Tuesday night contest. The match proved to be a defensive battle with both teams being held scoreless after two overtime periods resulting in a draw. This puts the Blueboys at 7-4-1 overall.
Both teams had an outstanding night defensively. The Blueboys fought off 17 shots and four shots on goal to force the Titans into overtime.
Owen Macias represented the team in goal with 4 saves in the match.
The team will return to action on Saturday, 10/9 at 1:30 PM on the road against Lake Forest College.
