Box Score RIPON, Wis.- The Illinois College Lady Blues women's soccer team traveled to face Ripon College in the final match of the 2021 season. The team was able to earn a win over the Red Hawks with a final of 4-1. This improves the Lady Blues to 3-14 overall and 1-7 in the MWC.
Ashely Brokaw was able to connect with the net early in the third minute to give IC the lead 1-0. The Red Hawks would tie the match at one goal a piece in the fourth minute. This would be the score as the match headed to halftime.
The second half was all IC.
Jordan Morgan was able to connect with the net in the 56th minute on an assist from
Haley Sommer to give the Lady Blues the lead. Sommer would then go off for two goals of her own to seal the victory over the Red Hawks.
Cassidy Tacker represented the Lady Blues in goal with three saves in the contest.
This wraps up the 2021 season for the Illinois College Lady Blues soccer team.
