JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's basketball team committed only five fouls as a team, enjoying an 11-1 edge in points from the charity stripe as the Lady Blues came away with a 63-52 win over Beloit College on Saturday afternoon for their second win in as many days. IC improves its record to 8-11 (4-8 Midwest Conference) with the victory.
A quick start in the first quarter from Illinois College helped the Lady Blues bounce back from a 4-0 deficit to lead, 21-11, after 10 minutes.
Brielle Greenleaf and
Grace Yaunches each led IC with seven points at halftime as the Lady Blues carried a 32-23 edge to the break.
Led by 13 second-half points from

Sydney Lett added eight points and six assists.
