By: The Lady Blues were more than 100 strokes better than Millikin on Tuesday afternoon at Red Tail Run Golf Course.
DECATUR, Ill. – The Illinois College women's golf team had no trouble on Tuesday in a dual meet against Millikin University. The Lady Blues notched a team score of 334 while Millikin shot a 436 at Red Tail Run Golf Course.
Illinois College had the top-four scores on the afternoon.
Emily Heiser was the individual medalist with a score of 79. Behind her in second place with an 83 was
Madi Peyton.
Andi McCombs was third with an 85 and
Jade Coady fired an 87.
Gaby Correa had the best round for Millikin with a 93. Closing out the scores for IC was
Britany Selepa with a 95. The other three Millikin golfers all had rounds of 104 or more.
Illinois College finishes off the 2016-17 season on April 14 and 15 in Normal, Ill. at the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling at the Ironwood Golf Course.
