JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – It was a cathartic day at the Bellatti Tennis Complex as the Illinois College women's tennis team stepped away from Midwest Conference play and earned a 9-0 win against Blackburn College for the team's first victory of the season. The Lady Blues improve to 1-3 on the season with the win and give
Andrew Bartelmo his first win as head coach of the program.
Beginning the day with doubles action, Illinois College immediately jumped out to a 3-0 lead.
Tamar Norville and
Lisa Noggle combined for an 8-3 win at the No. 1 spot, while
