JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois College women's golf team claimed the title of Jacksonville's best on Tuesday morning, defeating MacMurray in a dual meet at The Links of Jacksonville GC by a score of 368-434.
Emily Heiser was the medalist with a round of 81.
The second scorer on the day for the Lady Blues was
Alexis Lintker with an 87.
Carly Hamilton carded a 94 and
Hannah Strike had a 106 for IC. Katie Frye was the top finisher for the Highlanders with a round of 86.
Illinois College jumps back into tournament mode this weekend, golfing in the Clarke Invite in Galena, Ill. The first round will be Friday, Sept. 20, with the tournament concluding on Saturday.
