Lake Forest's Jordan Gipson hit a game-tying 3-pointer with two seconds left in regulation but the Illinois College men's basketball team held Lake Forest scoreless over the first four minutes of overtime before prevailing, 70-65, in Lake Forest on Tuesday.
Brandon Berry scored a game-high 25 points for the Blueboys.
Chris Marrs recorded a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds; six of Marrs' points came in overtime.
Nathan Kohler added 10 points.
The Blueboys improved to 7-4 overall and 3-3 in Midwest Conference play. They host Beloit College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
