Brandon Berry tallied game-high totals of 34 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Illinois College men's basketball team to a 79-62 win over visiting Lake Forest on Saturday afternoon in Jacksonville.
Berry was 11-of-16 from the field, 4-of-7 from 3-point range and 8-of-8 from the foul line.
Zeke Light scored 15 points, all in the second half, while
Nathan Kohler and
Justin Smith added 11 and 12 points, respectively.
Chris Marrs had six rebounds and six assists.
Spencer Campbell had six assists and Light had four steals.
The Blueboys shot 48.1 percent (26-of-54) from the field, 42.9 percent (12-of-28) from 3-point territory and 88.2 percent (15-of-17) from the foul line.
Illinois College improved to 10-6 overall and 6-5 in Midwest Conference play. The Blueboys travel to Carroll University on February 1.
