Audrey Brauer won two events and helped a relay team to another win at a swimming dual hosted by Millikin University on Saturday in Decatur. The IC men lost, 132-30, while the IC women came up short, 115-76.
Brauer took first in the 50-yard freestyle (27.69) and 100-yard backstroke (1:12.54). She also teamed with
Elisha Nelson,
Katia Swane-Barzowski and
Taylor Brien to win the 400-yard medley relay (4:41.28). Nelson won the 100-yard freestyle (1:02.86) and
Kelsey Tucker was best in the 500-yard freestyle (6:18.39).
Daniel Coop was the lone event winner for the Blueboys. Coop was best in the 100-yard butterfly (1:05.52).
The Blueboys and Lady Blues are back in action on Saturday at Principia College.
