Women's tennis falls to Grinnell, 9-0

The Illinois College women's tennis team lost to Grinnell College on Sunday, 9-0, in a their first match of the season at Monmouth College.

Tamar Norville, Holly Woelfel, Zippy Abdulmalik, Audrey Brauer, Brianna Pohlman and Jovanna Chavez all lost in singles action for the Lady Blues. The doubles teams of Norville and Woelfel, Abdulmalik and Brauer, and Pohlman and Chavez, also came up short.

The Lady Blues are back in action on Friday when they host Fontbonne University.
