Lady Blues take 9-0 win over Blackburn in women's tennis

The Illinois College women's tennis team scored a 9-0 win over host Blackburn College on Saturday in Carlinville.

Tamar Norville, Holly Woelfel, Zippy Abdulmalik and Audrey Brauer were all winners in singles action. Jovanna Chavez and Brianna Pohlman were winners by forfeit.

The doubles teams of Norville and Woelfel, and Abdulmalik and Brauer, were also victorious. The team of Chavez and Pohlman won by forfeit.

Illinois College improved to 4-2. They host Blackburn on October 7.
